About Me

Farmer Dave: Mancos, Colorado, United States; Up until my late 20's i was pretty focused on pottery. While living in Chicago I worked 2 seasons at The Resource Center's "City Farm". The work was difficult and the location (Division and Clyborne) was also difficult but I still got hooked on farming. When I left Chicago I drove around the southwest for six months looking for a place to start a farm. Durango was welcoming and the area is beautifull so here i am. I like teaching farming and pottery, doing stuff outdoors, visiting cities, traveling, good food, and good music. The different pages in this blogsite pretty much cover those things in more detail.
